Welcome to News Monitors’ guide for setting up a topic and keywords monitoring stream 🔍📡
Step 1: Choose your sources
When you create an Alert search, News Monitors will fetch data and categorize it into different sources. These sources include TV, radio, forums, social media, online and offline news, and the dark web. News Monitors also has the ability to track mentions of breached and hacked data on the dark web. You can choose which sources to include in your monitoring stream, or leave the preference unspecified.
Step 2: Select your language preference
News Monitors supports monitoring in various languages, including English, German, French, Spanish, Chinese, Indonesian, Portuguese, Italian, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, and Finnish. You can choose to monitor only in certain languages, or leave the preference unspecified to include all languages.
Step 3: Choose the platforms you want to monitor
News Monitors allows you to track mentions on popular platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, forums, blogs, videos, news sites, the web, radio and TV, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube. Keep in mind that while News Monitors can monitor business pages on Facebook and public profiles on Instagram, we are unable to track personal posts or stories on these platforms due to data policy restrictions.
Step 4: Monitor TV and radio mentions
News Monitors offers the ability to track mentions on TV and radio shows in the United States and Canada as an add-on feature for certain subscription plans. This allows you to stay up to date on all brand mentions across various media outlets. You can choose to monitor specific TV and radio shows or exclude certain shows from your monitoring stream.
Step 5: Customize your monitoring with our darkweb services
News Monitors offers advanced dark web monitoring services to help organizations stay informed about potential threats. Our team of experts will continuously scan the dark web for mentions of your brand or keywords, alerting you to any potential risks or vulnerabilities. With our dark web data feeds, you can:
- Monitor your domain for mentions in the dark web as part of a new breach or leak.
- Track compromised credentials and leaked credit card databases.
- Implement early warning and notification systems for leaks and data breaches by monitoring chat apps and anonymous networks.
- Understand the full context of a leak or attempted data breach by combining our Data Breach Detection with our Cyber API to identify the source, actor, and other details in multiple forums, files, marketplaces, or chat applications.
